Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Sales Growth & Strategy Manager to join their client's team in Durham, North Carolina. This key role involves leading the strategic direction and pipeline management for the Sales department, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the corporate business model, operations, programs, and services.
  • Understand the business and marketing challenges of independent pharmacies.
  • Analyze sales trends and market data to develop and maintain corporate sales strategy.
  • Forecast revenue and oversee the budget for the sales team.
  • Manage territories by analyzing current and potential territory plans to ensure alignment with the overall sales strategy.
  • Create reports detailing pipelines, forecasts, productivity, and other sales metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance across sales technology solutions, focusing on CRM data.
  • Oversee CRM software to track accurate pipeline status and log meetings, communications, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with developing sales proposals.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to align goals with overall business strategy.
  • Lead and direct the sales team, including hiring, goal setting, and performance management.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success for the sales team.
  • Create a positive working environment.
  • Lead weekly sales team meetings to encourage participation and collaborative thinking.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to sales team members as needed.
  • Suggest and implement improvements and enhancements as needed.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical sales with 5+ years managing a team.
  • Knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry, trends, and competition.
  • Experience in developing sales strategy.
  • Effective leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Independent, dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • Ability to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to provide clear goals, direction, and coaching to the sales team.
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with internal teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated and successful sales experience and at least 5 years of experience managing a team and developing sales strategy.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience is required. Experience working with independent pharmacies is a major plus.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift.

Benefits

Competitive salary range from $115,000 to $120,000 annually. This position is a supervisory role with potential for career growth within the company.
